Black Forest cake with a twist =p

Made a Black Forest cake for my best friend's birthday, us being Chinese from Hong Kong grew up with the "non traditional" Black Forest cake. From my memories, we used to have that cake for almost all birthday parties when we were little, because the selection back then was just not grea.

Our "non traditional" Black Forest cake does not have that gooey cherry filling between layers of cake, instead the filling are mixed fruits, in my opinion I think I like the mixed fruit more just because it gives some texture and most importantly it is not as sweet as the cherry.

My decoration skill isn't the greatest but the cake turned out very good, everyone enjoyed it =p
